Are you watching The Great Pottery Throwdown & thinking, "I would love to do that!" well now you can.

Our lovely pottery tutor, Su Clarke, is hosting sessions once a month at our studio. The session you are booking is 11.45am til 12.45pm. This session is for up to two people so you can bring a family member or friend to enjoy the experience together. Su will accept children age 10 plus if you would like to share the experience with a child. If you'd prefer to enjoy the whole hour to yourself, that's fine too.

After a demonstration from Su, you will take turns on the wheel. A great opportunity for you to take photos of each other's experience.

We have hosted lots of these sessions and they always book up fast. Perfect as a treat for someone's birthday. A gift experience box can be provided on request at no extra charge.

Su will be on hand for the duration of your session to help perfect your skills.

You will be shown how to prep your clay and throw your own pot or bowl on the wheel. During a 1 hour session we expect you to throw 2 or 3 pots each, choosing your favourite 2 (one pot each) for a bisque firing.

Your pots will stay with us for around 3 weeks while they dry. Price includes a return visit to paint your pots at our studio using our specialist underglazes. This return visit will be booked at the end of your initial session at a time that suits you.

We will charge you a £30 booking deposit today. This deposit is non-refundable but can be transferred if you find someone who would like to take your place. With a minimum of 24 hours notice, we will attempt to re-sell your space to another customer if you are not able to make it. Should we be successful in filling your space then you will be offered a £30 credit note which can be redeemed against any of our services or products. The balance of £25 is payable at the end of your session with Su. No additional payment is required for your return visit where you will glaze your finished pots a few weeks later.
